Hola, encantada! Soy Daphne.

About Malaga Moments

Dear readers, it is nice that you have found your way to this page and perhaps are interested in going to Spain. Here you can find out a little more about who I am and what we do at Malaga Moments.

My name is Daphne and I am the founder of Malaga Moments. After completing my studies in Tourism Management at InHolland University of Applied Sciences, I decided to take the plunge and move to Spain. After a gap year in sunny Málaga and an exchange during my studies in Valencia, I knew for sure: Spain felt like home. With a passion for Spain and travel, I wanted to let others experience how special this country is. I have now been living here for quite some time.

The story behind it..

Our mission is to introduce travelers to the real Spain, the places, people, and stories that often remain hidden behind the well-known tourist routes.
I believe that travel is more than just a vacation; it is a way to connect, learn, and truly enjoy.

My love for Spain began during my gap year, when I spent time in Malaga. During that period, I studied Spanish and really got to know the city and life here. Later, I went to Valencia for my Erasmus exchange, an experience that was also incredibly special to me. It was a time full of new encounters, challenges, and moments I will never forget.

What started afterwards with sharing tips with friends and students eventually grew into something bigger. With Malaga Moments, I want to inspire others not only to visit Spain, but to truly experience it.

At Malaga Moments, it is ultimately about the small moments that make an experience special. Feeling at home somewhere in a new city, discovering a hidden gem, or creating memories that you will cherish for a long time.

Small moments

Great meaning

“Sometimes, it’s the smallest moments that mean the most. A glance, a feeling, an unexpected moment when everything just comes together.”
